Lakeview Restaurant specialises in Indonesian and Balinese cuisine, sourcing as much of its inspiration and ingredients from 15kms radius of Lake Batur

Lakeview restaurant is open from 7:30AM to 3:30PM for a la carte service inspired by the best local produce available in the region. A buffet breakfast serves Indonesian specialties such as fried rice and black-rice pudding as well as fresh fruit and pancakes from 7:30AM to 10:30AM. A buffet lunch serves Indonesian and local Balinese specialties from 11:30AM to 3:30PM, along with refreshing cocktails such as the Kintamani Sunshine and Kintamanu Sunrise, wine spritzers based on Bali’s own home-grown Aga White by Hatten Wines. Perfect for tropical weather!

Lakeview Restaurant Buffet
New menu effective 1 July 2011

Soups – two of the following:

  • Pumpkin soup
  • Minestrone (Italian-style chopped vegetable clear soup)
  • Black bean and choko soup
  • French onion soup
  • Tomato gazpacho

Served with croutons or buns of white bread or black rice bread

 

Rice & Noodles

  • White Rice
  • Aromatic Ginger Fried Rice OR Batur Style Fried Rice (w shredded pumpkin, blackbeans and crunchy nuts)
  • Bakmi Goreng (Vermicelli stir-fry )
 

Vegetarian Section

  • Gado-gado
  • Urab (steamed vegetables with roasted coconut dressing) OR Choko stir-fry (jukut jipang) OR Vegetarian Curry Madras
  • Potato fritters OR Diced potatoes & capsicum
  • Spring rolls OR Tempura
  • Acar (fresh pickled carrots, cucumber and pineapple with shallots and chili)
  • Tempe Kacang Manis (Sweet tempe stir-fry)  AND serundeng  kelapa (fried coconut garnish)
 

Meat Section

  • Fried chicken in soy sauce OR red sauce (Ayam bumbu manis / Ayam balado)
  • Chicken-coconut cakes in banana leaf OR fish-coconut cakes in banana leaf (tum ayam/tum ikan)
  • Bé Lindung (spicy grilled eel) OR Bé siap masisit masambal matah (shredded chicken with a salsa of sliced shallots)
  • Tuna Satay
  • Pork Satay
  • Sate Lilit (coconut-fish satay)
 

Desert

  • Fresh fruit of the season (at least 3 kinds)
  • Black rice pudding  (bubuh injin)
  • Kebis (rice cake) / Agar-agar / Kukus-labu  (steamed glutinous rice & pumpkin) with palm sugar
  • Fried banana (pisang goreng) with honey
 

Tea & Coffee

  • Kopi Bali
  • Black jasmine-infused tea
  • Lemongrass & mint tea

Served with milk, sugar and/or honey
